WHO IT'S FOR
Families with kids (full-size crib, bunks with fixed ladders, and no stairs to climb with a stroller once you're inside), two families sharing a trip, and groups of up to 13 who'd rather have a whole apartment than four hotel rooms. Stays of 28+ nights are welcome. Pick Updated for a first-floor layout with a parking spot at a family price; pick Penthouse upstairs if you need in-unit laundry; pick Grand Mansion if you're 14 or more — it's this entire building.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
• Bedroom 1: queen bed + twin-over-twin bunk + full-size crib — sleeps 4 plus an infant
• Bedroom 2: full-over-full bunk + twin trundle — sleeps 5
• Bedroom 3: twin-over-full bunk + twin trundle — sleeps 4
• Living room: sectional sofa and smart TV
Every bunk has a fixed ladder. Bedrooms have wall-mounted luggage stands instead of closets (the closet doors came off to make room for the desk nooks), so plan to live out of your bags.

WHERE YOU'LL BE
A quiet residential block of two- and three-family homes in Bayonne, NJ 07002 (Hudson County) — a small, family-oriented city on the peninsula between Jersey City and Staten Island, directly across the harbor from Manhattan. Broadway, Bayonne's main street, is a block away: restaurants (Italian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, Filipino, classic diners), cafés, bakeries and delis, with supermarkets and pharmacies along the same street. Bayonne's reported violent-crime and property-crime rates are below the U.S. national averages, and it has a reputation as one of the quieter, more family-oriented cities in Hudson County. Your door code is unique to your stay, and the building's main door locks itself behind you.

• Manhattan by car: 25–40 minutes to Lower Manhattan via the Holland Tunnel, traffic depending
• Cape Liberty Cruise Port (Royal Caribbean's New York–area home port): about 10 minutes
